Boomerang’s Cinema Network – delivering the first and last impacts in the movie-going experience

So far, 2025 has been outstanding for the UK & Ireland cinema industry – H1 revenues blew expectations, coming in at £532.4m.  In fact, the 2025 box office is forecast to reach £1.2bn – that’s a 10% jump year-on-year and 9% ahead of 2023.

Brits have fallen back in love with going to the movies, and for that movie-loving audience, H2 and 2026 has some weighty blockbusters, family-favourites and franchise updates that will not disappoint.

This is great news for the ever-growing portfolio of brands using our UK-wide cinema large format and D6 network – at more than 1,100 in-foyer screens this is the most immersive (and expansive) way to engage a potential audience of 2.3m emotionally-engaged cinema-goers before and after the film – every two weeks.

For movie fans, there’s a cherry on the cake of the movie experience – our cinema media partner Vue, has launched EPIC – a premium large format cinema experience that will roll out to 11 UK cinemas, starting with Nottingham.  EPIC comprises the latest technological advancements in sight (4K HDR laser projection by Barco) and sound (award-winning Dolby Atmos).

So, it’s not just every-day fans who are investing in the movies, the whole industry is leaning in to delivering a next-level experience across 2025 and beyond.  If you’re a global or local brand that wants a piece of this high reach, high dwell-time action, just ask us how our foyer D6 network can get your name up in lights.
