From August this year, Boomerang Media, the UK’s leading in-venue DOOH operator will put D6 screens live in WTW-Scott Cinemas, delivering significant additional reach of audiences in major southwest conurbations including Bristol, Exmouth, Newquay and Barnstaple.
WTW-Scott, also part of the Pearl & Dean media portfolio, adds 10 regional cinemas and 17 D6 screens to Boomerang’s network of more than 116 venues and 1,160 screens. The new D6s benefit from a regional footfall of close to 25,000 people a fortnight.
Mark Williams, Director at WTW-Scott commented: WTW-Scott Cinemas are pleased to partner with Boomerang and Pearl And Dean to launch in foyer advertising through the Boomerang DOOH network. We are very pleased with the installation progress and look forward to seeing advertising live on the screen from late summer.
Beyond extending the footprint of Boomerang’s cinema network for national advertisers, WTW-Scott represents a significant new opportunity for the southwest’s local / regional advertisers and SMEs to enjoy the benefits of a premium D6 network located in well-defined environments within key business catchment areas.
Commenting on the addition of WTW-Scott Cinemas, Dan Photi, sales and marketing director at Boomerang said: Being in-cinema offers brands the unique opportunity to engage consumers across a long dwell-time when they’re in a relaxed and positive mindset – a moment when they’re more likely to be open to brand influence. In the southwest, there is comparably lighter availability of DOOH than in other UK regions, with much of it being roadside or rail DOOH – environments where distraction is plentiful and dwell-time is short. Bringing new, destination-based D6 screens live in this region is significant for not only extending advertiser reach across economically active communities but achieving brand influence too.
